The Movie House Yorkgate when it first opened in 1992 was fitted out with Lennox Roof Top Heat Pump packages. These units sat on the roof of the building and provided heating, cooling and ventilation to the 7 individual cinemas.

After expansion in 1997 additional cinemas were fitted with packages which took advantage of the now available gas supply to provide the heating, retaining the refrigeration system for cooling.

In 2008 the original Heat Pump units were replaced after 16 years of service and then in 2017 the remainder of the packages were also replaced completing a 25 year relationship between The Movie House, BL and Lennox.
